Cambridge Chapel at 50 Quincy Street The Cambridge Swedenborg Chapel is a lovely Gothic-revival stone chapel located at 50 Quincy Street in Cambridge, Mass. Please note that the official and historical name as may be found on maps and church directories is The Cambridge Society of the Church of the New Jerusalem (Swedenborgian). We are located at the corner of Quincy and Kirkland Streets, across from Harvard's monumental Memorial Hall/Sander's Theatre, which is behind Harvard Yard in Harvard Square. Access is an easy 5 minute walk from the Harvard Station MBTA stop on the Red Line and buses - just walk through Harvard Yard and ask anyone for Memorial Hall if you don't readily see its newly restored tower, then walk around the Hall to the chapel. (We're not part of Harvard in case you were wondering, but we're close neighbors in good standing, and we host field service from the students of the nearby Divinity School).

For the area perspective, below is a map of Cambridge with some arrows to show the one-way traffic directions to the chapel. For information on parking and approach by car into the Boston area, click here.

Concerts, lectures, and services are held in the chapel and entered through the front door. Please note, we regret that we are not wheelchair accessible at this time. Discussion and reading groups are held in the parlor and entered on the left side of the building. If you have any need to contact us by phone, the chapel's answering service is at (617) 864-4552. For questions that cannot be answered by the operator we will endeavor to call you back as soon as possible.

We look forward to meeting or speaking with you at any one of our functions on any fine day which suits you. We feel especially blessed with the chapel, our location, our heritage of beliefs, and the good people of our community, so we want you to know that you'll always be welcome to share in whatever we can offer you.
