        Music at Noon 2002       
  • Free beautiful classical noon concerts for consecutive Thursdays from June to August (exception is Wed July 3): June 20, June 27, Wednesday July 3, July 11, July 18, July 25, August 1, August 8, August 15, August 22, August 29.
  • Entering another successful season! Wonderful and varied, contemporary and period music by professional musicians, perfect in a stone Gothic chapel.
  • FREE! Donations are of course welcome but not obligatory. Performances begin at 12:10 pm to be precise. For directions to the chapel including parking information, click here. For exact schedule see below.
  • June 20: Solo piano by Shuann Chai. Music by Busoni, Schumann, and Haydn.
  • June 27: Cecilia String Trio with Emmanuella Reiter and Sao Lun Lu.
  • July 4: Soria Chamber Players with guest flutist Masumi Yoneyama under the direction of Orlando Cela . Music by Antonio Vivaldi, Saverio Mercadante and Alberto Ginastera.
  • July 11: Reiko Akasaka Organist, Tom Duprey Trumpet, and Sam Lorber Saxophone Music by Telemann, Handel, Bach and Jevtic.
  • July 18: Carla Chrisfield, soprano and William Merrill, Piano Music by Haydn, Wolf, Poulenc, and Samuel Barber’s Knoxville: Summer of 1915.
  • July 25: Amy Riechardt, Percussionist.
  • August 1: Joe Tucker and Friends Performing acoustic folk and gospel music in a 60th birthday tribute to Jerry Garcia .
  • August 8: Barbara Conlin.
  • August 15: Alfred Watson, pianist Music by Chopin, Debussy, Scriabin and Mr. Watson’s own compositions written in the Classical Romantic style. As part of his performance, Mr. Watson will speak about inspiration and present some interesting commentary about the music.
  • August 22: Orlando Cela and Jenny Tang will perform a selection of time-honored works for flute and piano. Music by Bach, Reinecke and others including the Cambridge Premier of David Leisner’s Acrobats, with guitarist Luiz Mantovani.
  • August 29: Christine Tulis performs traditional celtic music and original compositions. Christine's specialty is performing the sacred poetry of Rumi with original music.
