- A free lecture open to the public, held Tuesday, June 6 at 7:30pm.

- Sponsored by the Harvard Medical School and the Swedenborg Society at Harvard-Radcliffe, this year's talk on "Mind-Body Medicine and Alternative Therapies in the Dialogue between Science and Religion" promises to be a potential watershed in the public policy debate for the role of alternative therapies in the western medical establishment.

- Our presenter will be Eugene Taylor, PhD, Lecturer on Psychiatry at the Harvard Medical School, and the 1983 William James Lecturer on the Varieties of Religious Experience at Harvard Divinity School. Dr. Taylor is the Vice-President of the chapel's Swedenborgian Cambridge Society, and the author of "A Psychology of Spiritual Healing" and "Shadow Culture: Psychology and Spirituality in America"

- Our respondant will be Herbert Benson, M.D., founding President Mind/Body Medical Insititute and currently the Mind/Body Medical Institute Associate Professor of Medicine, Harvard Medical School, and the Director of Mind/Body Medicine Programs, Dept of Medicine, Beth Israel-Deaconess Medical Center.
